Appearance: Circe is a unique looking woman. She has dark eyes which are a bit large for her face but when coupeled with her broad brow, pert upturned nose, and thin chin she looks rather pretty. She certainly considers herself the prettiest of her sisters, or at least the most capable of making the most of the looks she has.
She stands at a rather tall, 5,5, but she is very slender waist, but ample bosum, which gives her a very feminie hour glass shape, which accentuates with a tight corset and dress shapes designed to set it off the best advantage. She isleft handed, and keeps her wand in the left hand skirt, pocket, of sleeve of her garments.
She wears a lot of rich colours which she feels best compliment her skin tone, abhoring pastels as 'weak' colours and she NEVER wears brown. Her hair is a a thick and glossy shade of brown that appears almost black in some lights, and coppery in others, her low lights are a vibrant shiney copper. She wears a black choker with a simple silver locket at all times, and no one has seen inside it. She has a scar on the base of her throat where she was mugged by muggles at 17.
History:
*Born to a decent, respectable middle class family, the first child she was named Circe, after the notable witch of the same name. It was expected that she would do well in life.
*Her sister Elfrida was born – she was too young to care but thinking back she would rather have liked to have been an only child.
*She displayed magic at 2, rather a head of the curve, and presumably to take back the attention from the new baby.
*The rest of the siblings followed, and paid them very little attention, with the exception of her brother, which was very irksome, because she rather liked the idea of being an heiress – even if a middle class one.
*She attended Hogwarts and was sorted into Slytherin house, with the hat commenting on the fact that she was an ambitious girl, who was determined to go far.
*At school she knew that she would have to make her way in the world, and the best way for a girl to do that was to marry well, and so she was sure to get to know as many upper class girls, and of course their brothers as she could, including Valeria Podmore, who was a few years older than her but from a good family, with several brothers with good prospects.
*Circe did well in school, was particularly adept at potions and transfiguration. During her final few years in school she became as close as she could to her upper class friends, in whose social circle she hoped to move after her debut.
*The summer between 6th year and 7th year, she had been on an internship at the ministry in London and was mugged coming home one evening from the ministry, while walking to the night bus. The muggles held a knife to her throat and demanded her money, they were angry and confused when she gave them her wizatrding money, but were scared off by the arrival of the knight bus before they could ask too many questions. They were obliviated and dealt with by the ministry.
*Circe debuted at the Hogwarts coming out ball, and made a great effort in her first season attending every event and working to be the best she could be in society. She cultivated the image of being the ‘perfect’ society lady, well spoken, educated, and everything a wife should be.
*She met Hudson Podmore her first season and they kept up correspondence and paid regular visits, using any excuse to talk. Circe knew she needed to keep him close in order to keep him interested, and while she never gave in to him physically before he proposed she promised him the world. There were rumours that the gifts of chocolates, she sent him on a weekly basis contained small amounts of love potion, just enough to make him think more fondly of her (there is no proof of this of course!)
*She engaged a tutor to teach her to be an animagus, and while she should have got a job, like any other MC girl, she instead almost bankrupt her mother, by doing the full season. Granted it was on a budget but she made the most of her modest income to get as far as she could.
*It worked, and before the end of the season Hudson had asked for her hand
* They married within the month, in a lavish ceremony that his family paid for – of course, and her elevation to the upper classes was complete.
* Her father died of the laughing plague, and her sister Josephina’s decline into spinsterhood begins, it amuses Circe, as she was already well disposed off. Her brother inherits and Circe wonders if he will ever remove his head from his books long enough to bother finding a wife.
* Circe and Hudson’s first child, a fine strong son was born, securing her position as the perfect pureblood wife.
* Josphina is dispatched to the nunnery of St. Alistair de Morosus, no one of importance, notices or cares, certainly Circe doesn’t, other than a source of teasing for her younger siblings.
* Circe has her second child, a girl, who she dresses and pets, and treats like a doll.
