    Yet Another Garden Party

    Generic MC Garden Party
January's first season had been a small bit of a disaster. First, she had been stuck in the Wizarding World Market chaos and had suffered slight injuries and on top of that, August had resurfaced when she had begun to think that he might actually be dead. It was an adjustment that she was still getting used to though she had no clue how her sisters were dealing with it.

It wasn't something that bothered her too much though. August was obviously more important than the season and she hadn't entered the world of a debutante with much confidence anyway. For one, she had older, unmarried sisters who she thought any man would be lucky to wed so why should they cast one look towards her? For another, January could be almost painfully shy. That made debutanting rather difficult when it required one to be social with a bunch of randoms.

January knew what sort of husband she would prefer, at least. She wanted either a handsome Quidditch player or an artistic type of man. Bonus points if they were both! As far as she knew, she had yet to meet such a man.

Circling the garden party that she had attended with February, she cast a glance towards the eligible men that had attended before turning to her sister that had been seated beside her. "I think the one with the spectacles has been repeatedly looking your way," she murmured to her sister. She would rather be at home with her paints, sketchpads and charcoals but January always found debutante things much more enjoyable when she was doing them alongside one of her siblings.

Febs wasn't sure if she should be relieved or annoyed that the season was starting to slow down. It had been rather disastrous, with all of the uproar and tragedy of the World Wizarding Market, but August had been safe and sound as well! She was torn between losing hope on yet another season and being thankful that her family was together again. She would have more time to enjoy her family as the parties became further apart, but honesty, she was twenty-one now! She wasn't going to be young forever!

It was trying to push those thoughts from the forefront of her mind that caused her to nearly miss what January had said about somebody looking their way. A smile curled her lips as she glanced casually where Jan mentioned the gentleman to be, before turning her gaze back on her younger sister. "Are you quite certain it's me he's looking at?" With the two of them always together, it was hard to tell, but just because February was not making much headway in the courtship department, didn't mean January had to suffer the same fate! Pluse teasing her was part of the fun.

"Could just as easily be you." She winked at her sister playfully.
