He didn't know why he had come here but there was something that needed to be done. Something within his mind was bothering him and therefore, the man really couldn't allow it to pass. He needed to talk to someone about it, needed to talk to someone. Apparating right before the doors of the Ministry of Magic, he allowed his eyes to look up at it, is eyes scanning the area around it. There was something about this moment in which he couldn't help but to be happy that he had arrived and yet, the man looked far more different than what he had before, at least whenever it came to what he was wearing. Unlike his Quidditch robes, the man was wearing a suit that fit his body perfectly. His hair had been slicked back and tied up, as though to keep it from his face and make himself look a bit more presentable. There was also a hat upon his head, unlike the cap that he normally wore. If he was here, he decided that in order to see someone, he needed look serious. It was something that the man was determined to do. With his eyes looking at the building, there was this smile upon his face, playful and alluring as though he had something planned for the day. Instead, inside of the building, tucked away within the Games Department, there was someone in which he was hoping would be there. Maybe, just maybe, he would be able to slip past her like a snake and get to the person that he wanted to talk to. He doubted it but at least it would be an experience in which none of them would forget û at least not him. Right now, his experience was the fact that there was a woman in there that he would try his best in order to sucker into.

Not that it would help at all.

Climbing the stairs up towards the front door, the man pulled it open and entered. His eyes looked about the area before moving forwards, his hat being pulled off his head while one hand smoothing over his hair, as though trying to smooth out any loose stands that were there. It was then in which he moved forwards, his eyes looking about the area. There were people all over the place, some of them who stopped and looked at him, as though they knew who he was or looked like someone who was familiar. It was something in which Kelsey had learned to ignore, knowing that it was best in order to allow people to stare then to bother with it. He had things in which he had to do. After walking for quite some distance, the man took a right down a corridor, following it down. His head looked to the left and right, eyeing everything that was around him, as though hoping that he would not miss the turnoff. It was something in which he couldn't do, not at the moment. His footsteps echoed across the flooring as he moved, trying his best in order to figure out where he was going. It was only while he was walking for a while when his eyes captured a glimpse of what he was looking for. It was easy to tell that the man had walked into the Department of Magical Games. There were papers all over the walls, explaining the teams as well as other information which would have been important. There was also different colors of banners which showed the Quidditch Teams. It was weird for him and yet, he didn't pay attention to any of it at the moment. Instead, his eyes had decided to focus upon something else.

There was a desk before him where a woman sat behind it. She seemed rather busy, staring down at a couple of papers and writing something in which he didn't know. It amused him, considering that the woman always seemed to have been busy like this. Didn't she know what it was like to be out there and actually enjoy the world in which she lived in? It was hard for him to say but apparently, it was not the case. It seemed as though the woman was always working her, dealing with the taunts and teasing of men who thought of her as a beautiful young woman. And yet, there were some people who stared at her as though she was someone who they shouldn't have associated with. The woman was a spinster, someone who had not married at the age that she should have and therefore, many men turned a blind eyes towards her. Kelsey did not. There was something about her in which he had found amusing to him. Perhaps it was due to the fact that she was rather attractive to him û her appearance just proved how fond he was of her. She might not have known it but right now, but she had kept up her appearance far more than most women out there. Laurel had made herself attractive within his eyes and therefore, he had tried his best in order to make sure that the woman had known it. It was something in which he really couldn't help at all. Standing there and staring him, he tried his best in order to figure out what could have been done in order to capture the attention of the lovely woman in front of him. Luckily for him, there was something that had decided in order to come to mind, something in which he knew she wouldn't like.

It was just who she was.

"Miss Tidmarsh, how enchanting you look today û I barely recognized you.." The man gave a dramatic bow in front of her, that playful smile lingering upon his face. It was only then in which he raised his head upwards, allowing his eyes to linger upon the woman in front of him. He couldn't help this at all. Straightening himself up, he smoothed the clothing that was over his body before making his way closer towards the desk. Once he reached it, he stopped and looked at the woman, allowing his eyes to look into her eyes. They were enchanting to him and he could easily get lost within them. "Tell me, how are you upon this lovely afternoon? Well, I hope? Hopefully, nothing has been bothering you." He just needed to continue sucking up to the woman, in order to go and speak to the man in which he wanted to talk to. There was a reason for it, as there always was, and therefore he knew it was best in order to treat the woman with respect, at least with the respect in which he had been taught. It was probably not something in which she wanted to deal with but he couldn't help it at all. He just had to allow it to happen. With a deep breath inwards, he spoke once against to the woman, allowing her to know the reason why he was here at the moment. "Now, you are probably wondering the reason why I am here. There are certain things in which I am here for as I believe you already know. Tell me, is Mr. Cavanaugh in? I wish to speak to him about something important." He didn't know what the woman would say but he was more than willing to wait for it. At least right now he was.

The work day had passed peaceably so far today, but it wasn't Laurel's luck that it should stay that way. It never wasùat least, when it came to Mr. Gallagher, the Captain of the Kenmare Kestrels. She wasn't able to explain it, but a certain piece of dread settled low in her stomach. (She figured it arose the moment he entered the buildingùnot the office, mindùthe building. She tried to ignore it and keep working on the papers that she had found on her desk this morning. She had gotten through half of the stack when Mr. Gallagher entered the department. Laurel didn't look up immediately; she needed to finish this last bit of paperwork. Whoever it was would just have to wait. When she had finished her last piece, she looked up and saw Mr. Gallagher before her desk. Laurel wanted nothing more than to look at him with plain displeasure, but that would be impolite, so she looked at him with a rather flat expression, which really wasn't much better.

Mr. Gallagher wasn't a bad man, per se; he was simply annoying. He smiled and charmed like that princess, who had jewels and roses tumble from her mouth every time she spoke. At least, that's how most people viewed him. Laurel saw him more like the unfortunate sister, who had snakes and beetles and whatever else falling out every time she spoke. His words were pretty and elegant, true; but she never thought him particularly thoughtful about them. Maybe she just couldn't bring herself to believe what he said because he was always adding extra cream to his already rich hot chocolate-y words.

Laurel sighed at his compliment, trying to keep from rolling her eyes. He talked like this to her every time he saw her. It annoyed her because he talked like this to every woman within marrying age. Granted, she was an acclaimed spinster, but she was still marriageable. Any woman with a decent bosom will draw his attention, she thought snidely.

She listened complacently as he continued on with his flourishing blather. He wants to see Mr. Cavanaugh, Laurel groaned inwardly before Mr. Gallagher even confessed it.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Gallagher, but Mr. Cavanaugh isn't in the office right now. Is it anything that I can help you with? Or I can take a message for you. I'll be sure to get it to Mr. Cavanaugh once he's in." Her tone was pleasant enough, but it was difficult to smile and seem chipper with the Captain of the Kenmare Kestrels before her.

If the man would have known what the woman would have thought about such a thing, he would have probably been a bit more cautious upon his words. It was something in which the man would have probably stopped whenever it came down to it but then again, it was really hard to say. The man was hard to read at times and there were plenty of times in which he did things that most people didn't understand. Flirting with women he barely knew (and some that he did), it was something in which he couldn't have helped at all. The man had always surprised the people around him, especially whenever it came to certain people. As for Miss Laurel Tidmarsh, she seemed to have gotten the worse of what the man had thrown at women. Within his eyes, she was attractive, a delightful figure who the man couldn't help but to stare at. Yes, he might have made a fool out of himself when around her but it was something he was used to. For him, it was better in order to show some interest within the young man than to just leave her be. The words "leave her be" were not something in which the man seemed to have understood at all. For him, the woman was some target, a challenge in which he needed to conquer. For him, it was something in which he really couldn't help but to be interested in. Maybe, he should have left the woman alone but it was far too late for that. She had caught his attention and therefore, he would be keeping it upon her. It was just the way that the man was and apparently, it was something in which he had to do. Hopefully, the woman would have been able to understand but then again, it was hard to tell.

Today, she seemed rather touchy in his opinion.

Yet, it was apparently that the one person in which he wanted to see wasn't in at the moment. His door was closed and û like every other time he was here û he was certain that he would be turned down. Sure enough, right after he had asked his question, the woman had answered it as politely as possibly but the man could tell her annoyance. Even her face showed that she was trying her best in order to hide something from him. This caused a small sigh in order to escape his lips, his eyebrows furrowing together in annoyance. Couldn't there have possibly been one day in which the man was actually in his office? Apparently, that was too much in order to ask of him, for the man always was away when he ended up here. Raising one hand to his forehead, he rubbed his temples, trying his head in order to calm any nerves which might be rising within his chest. It was something in which would have helped him out. Once that was done, he lowered his hand, his eyes looking at the woman in front of him, trying his best in order to figure out what to be said to her. She was supposed to take notes about it but, right now, he thought it was best in order to keep waiting for the man to actually come in. Instead of leaving however, the man had decided that it was best in order to stay around and perhaps start a conversation with the woman in front of him. Maybe, he would be able to actually talk to her and understand her a bit more. It was something in which he thought would have been wise. Then again, he never really knew what would have been wise whenever talking to a woman. Perhaps keeping his mouth shut would have been better.

"Apparently, the man seems not willing to speak to me about something however, I will be more than willing in order to wait." The words were spoken softly, trying his best in order to figure out what more could have been said at the moment. There was something which seemed to have caused the man in order to actually want to know her a bit more. Yes, it might have been strange but it was something in which he couldn't help. There was something in which he wished to have asked her and yet, he didn't know the best way to do such a thing. He might as well try his best in order to impress her. Clearing his throat, as though trying his best in order to get everything situated, he crossed his arms in front of his chest, his eyes looking at the woman in front of him. "Tell me, do you ever get a day off? It seemed like every time I come here, I see you here, working your head off. I know it is a strange question but one might assume that you work for a living and never have a day off û that you never really experience life." He paused for a second, blinking slowly as though trying his best in order to figure out why he had said that to her. There must have been a reason but he really didn't know what more could have been said. "I apologize, I shouldn't really be so blunt especially when us Quidditch players hardly have any time as well. However, I do believe that someone like you should be out and enjoying yourself. Maybe take a walk within the park and enjoy the weather." It was a suggestion in which he thought that the woman might have enjoyed. Then again, it was really hard to say.

Maybe she would accept his offer?

Biting down upon his lower lip, he held onto it, his mind trying to convince him to talk to the woman at the moment. He wanted to ask her and yet, he was nervous with what the woman might have said. It might have been strange for him to feel such a thing like this but he couldn't help it at all. As a matter of fact, it was something he wanted to ask her. But what would she say? He really didn't know at all. "Perhaps, I would be able to ask you something. Maybe, I may accompany you to some event or, if you wish, you can come and watch the Kestrels practice. I know it might not sound interesting but, it might help to get you out of work." He didn't know what the woman would actually say to him but he was hoping that there was something that she would agree with. It would be the best way in order for them to talk to each other and understand what they were going through. As strange as it might have been, it was something that Kelsey really couldn't have helped at all. He wanted to ensure that the woman would be alright and yet, he wasn't too certain about it. For once, the man felt the nerves slowly creeping up his body, making him question what was happening at the moment. It was something in which he really shouldn't have done but yet, he thought he would be kind enough to ask. Maybe, she would be kind enough in order to answer him. "I know that you might not consider such a thing but it would be something to look forwards to and relax your mind. Plus, you'll get to watch professional players without the crowds that most would deal with." Why was he asking her this?
