"Are you always this forward?" He asked teasingly since it would be a very short thread if he just ignored her entirely. — Tobin Cartwright in Take A Peek
Did you know? Churchgoers and worshippers had to endure a foul stench during prayers due to the amount of bodies often stored within the vaults of churches and chapels.
A fter almost a week of silence from the Ministry of Magic, the first (live, we promise!) bodies emerged from the structure late last night: those of Minister Balthazar Urquart and his support staff. By the time of publication, all but the bottom two levels of the Ministry of Magic had been emptied of individuals both alive and dead, with the Department of Mysteries, Courtrooms, and Detention level expected to be cleared out by the end of today. All employees not essential to cleanup and administration have been given the next week off to recuperate, during which time
The cause of the lockdown was not an attack but an explosion caused by experiments in the Department of Mysteries—though no one will tell us what those experiments were. An official count of casualties will not be released until the requisite families have been informed.

Mr and Mrs Lewis Haroldson married in 1879. They met two years previously, at Padmore Park, when the two (and many others) had moved to the recently founded Hogsmeade. Mrs Haroldson, then Miss Hannah Glynne and nineteen years old, was a maid in the household of a rich widow in Wellingtonshire. Mr Haroldson, then thirty one years old, was a healer working at St Mungo’s and was a resident of Bartonburg.
It seemed that the two would not would never cross paths. However on one fateful windy August day, their lives changed forever. Both Mr and Mrs Haroldson are keen kite enthusiasts and were both flying their kites that day. All was going well for both parties until their kites became intertangled - and so did their lives.
“As soon as I set my eyes on her I knew I had to marry her,” Mr Haroldson told me, “I loved her in that instant - and she knew she felt the exact same way about me. I could see it in her eyes.” However, the two were very hesitant to start courting due to the class difference. So the two parted ways, as they could obviously not marry.
Luck would have it though that Mrs Haroldson’s then employer died six months later. Mrs James Jupiter was a two hundred and thirty four year woman, and her only surviving children she was not fond of. “They hadn’t spoken to her in years,” Mrs Haroldson informed me, “One daughter of hers even tried to poison Mrs Jupiter a few years before I began to work for her. Mrs Jupiter definitely thought her years before I began to work for her. Mrs Jupiter definitely thought her children only wanted her money.” When Mrs Jupiter did end up dying, instead of dividing _____________________________________________________________
her fortune between her daughters, she gave half of her estate to a few of her preferred grandchildren (who were all adults with grandchildren of their own), and the other half to Mrs Haroldson!
Then in the possession of lots of money, the then Miss Glynne moved her family to Bartonburg. Then, of all the people who she could have moved next to, she happened to move next door to Mr Haroldson! The two, now social equals, could marry! Obviously, it took Mrs Haroldson a while to learn the ways of the middle class, but being a demure, honest, and well meaning woman, she had always been a woman of taste and class and before long it was always as if she had been a woman of wealth.
I later spoke to the playwright, Rex King, who has written the play. “It’s like a modern day, and true, Jane Eyre! Except with kites and kind old women instead of mad women in attics and secret rich uncles - and it was all a lot more proper!” Mr King heard of the Haroldsons’ story when his daughter became friends with the Haroldsons’ oldest daughter, Harriet, and was incredibly eager to bring the story to life. He has dubbed it a “modern fairytale, with great emphasis on the class system, and how certain people actually have enough grace to move positions while not offending every single person.” He then went onto say, “Obviously not everyone can marry up, these people are so exceptional. Mrs Haroldson must have some blue blood in her somewhere. She is an exceptional woman.”
Mr King is hoping for the play to be shown to the public next month. He and his actors have already begun rehearsals.
