Dear Miss Beauregard,

I can assure you that the delay is of no consequence as, suffice to say, the reality of her death struck me several months ago when she was first taken by whatever foul creature did this to her. I do, however, thank you for thinking of me. It has been rather a troubling time as I am sure you will appreciate and it is terribly kind of you to be so thoughtful.

I do hope your endeavours after your graduation are successful thus far? You always were an intelligent girl and as I have heard of no nuptials I assume you have taken a sensible path.

Dear Mrs. Aesalon,

I'm glad to hear you're handling things as best you can, it still must be hard.

I myself have been busy, I work at the bookstore in town, but I've also been shadowing my mother, who is a governess. Lately however, I've been giving thought to the library in London. I hear they  have a junior librarian position open and I must admit it intrigues me. So many options and yet I cannot make a decision. What do you think?

Dear Miss Beauregard,

I think that the library will be very well served by having you working for it – the Hogwarts library will likely prove quite pathetically miniscule by comparison, although I flatter myself that my efforts go a long way towards making it just as well-run. If you are ever in need of a reference – though I am quite sure you have acquitted yourself admirably in your current position – you need only ask.

Would you prefer to live there do you think? I find London quite ghastly but you seem more tolerant than I.
