Thankfully for them, the streets they'd exited to housed a marketplace, so there were plenty of people to ask for directions. Even though they didn't speak English, they understood enough of it to make vague hand gestures as a response to 'Where is the Smiling Cobra?'.
After half an hour of walking they found the hotel in question.
