Appearance:

George possesses dark hair and eyes and strong facial features that he has no doubt inherited from his father. He stands at a stocky 5' 7", and most often dresses simply both at work and at home. He is right handed. 

History:

1866 | George is born, the last Carmichael sibling.

1870 | Elliot gets his Hogwarts letter and departs for school. 

1874 | Ginny gets her letter and is also off to school, and George becomes terribly jealous of his older siblings for going on an adventure and leaving him behind! His first act of magic is to summon Ginny's trunk to him to (unsuccessfully) prevent her leaving -- and his aim is rather off, summoning the trunk to his face rather than his feet. George's nose is always just a little crooked after it heals from the incident.

1877 | George arrives at Hogwarts just as Elliot is leaving. He is sorted into Gryffindor.

1879 | Little does George know that his second summer home from school will be a disastrous one. Virginia is attacked by a werewolf, and though she lives, her life is a very different one afterwards. George makes the Vow to protect her secret along with the rest of his siblings at his father's urging, though with all the idealism of youth, he cannot help but wonder if there's really nothing to be done for his dear sister. Upon his return to school, he chooses COMC, Ancient Studies, and Ancient Runes as his electives.

1882 | George sits his OWLs and passes with flying colors, but chooses to drop Ancient Studies and Ancient Runes, as they are not particularly useful for his chosen career path: a healer. He secretly hopes to be able to find a cure for Virginia's lycanthropy someday, and as he grows older becomes more frustrated with the family's Vow. While he is painfully aware of the stigma against werewolves, he finds it horribly unfair that Ginny would be lumped in with all the undesirables by default. Perhaps if she could have shown what a "tame" werewolf could be like, they wouldn't be so ostracized, but his father does his best to shut down any conversation on the matter whenever George broaches the topic.

1885 | George graduates and begins his healing internship at St. Mungo's. He displays a single-minded devotion to his work (and his secret dream) that is only interrupted when he meets a fellow professional at the hospital. The girl is kind and spirited and beautiful -- but he is utterly unfit to marry so soon, by society's standards, not to mention the class difference! Ever the idealist, George is beginning to wonder if maybe it isn't time for him to tell society where to stick it.
