MINISTRY OF MAGIC IN LOCKDOWN! ACCIDENT SHUTS EMPLOYEES INSIDE; OUTSIDE, NOBODY KNOWS ANYTHING

Yesterday afternoon Minister Urquart contacted his daughter, Miss Delight Urquart, through two-way mirror. He informed the girl - (and the rest of her Herbology class) - that the Ministry of Magic has gone into lockdown, and nobody outside the Ministry has gotten any word since. No one even knows that the accident was. It is rare that I come to you with so little information, readers - but I cannot help it now. Nobody can get out of the Ministry. Nobody can get into the Ministry. The floo network has been shut down across wizarding Britain, and all attempts to apparate into the Ministry's atrium have been met with utter failure. _____________________________________________________________

Apart from Minister Urquart's message, there has been no word from inside the Ministry since. None at all. There are hundreds of witches and wizards locked inside, and we have no grasp on the current situation - all we know is that an accident happened, and that there is nothing we can do from outside. We must assume that the situation is as dire as it can possibly be. Our only option is to keep the men and women of the Ministry of Magic in our thoughts until we receive word.
