FOLLOW THAT CARRIAGE
SMUGGLER GETS INTO WRONG CARRIAGE, ARRESTED ![]() |
![]() O ne would think, that having just picked up over a hundred galleons worth of smuggled magical goods with the aim to sell them on, you’d be rather careful about which carriage you’d get into. That, however, certainly wasn’t the case for Mrs Hodewick of London, who had just received the aforementioned smuggled goods, largely firecrab shells, from a contact that was secretly an undercover auror. Outside the shop more aurors were waiting in a carriage, prepared to follow Mrs Hodewick’s carriage to find the dealers she was going to sell the goods onto. _____________________________________________________________ |
However, their job was made rather much easier for them when Mrs Hodewick got into the auror’s carriage by accident, catching them all rather unawares, Mrs Hodewick in particular. A short scuffle entailed- punctuated with some rather choice expressions from the woman herself- with Mrs Hodewick now in custody and this particular smuggling ring thoroughly broken. In total, eight smugglers and illicit traders are now in ministry care and awaiting trial thanks to one rather innocent mistake. AUTHOR: FELIX PREWETT |
